- To respond to messages you send us
- To understand overall site usage, if you have consented to analytics
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Cookies and local storage
We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again on every page. This is strictly necessary and contains no personal information.
Optional analytics cookies are only set if you select “Accept all”. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Sharing your information
We share information only with service providers who help us run the website (for example, our web host or analytics provider), and only as needed for that purpose. These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at privacy@example.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
